<p>Mazzarrone liegt 88 Kilometer südwestlich von <a href="Catania" title="Catania">Catania</a>. Die Einwohner arbeiten hauptsächlich in der Industrie und in der Landwirtschaft.

</p><p>Die Nachbargemeinden sind <a href="Acate" title="Acate">Acate</a> (<a href="Provinz_Ragusa" class="mw-redirect" title="Provinz Ragusa">RG</a>), <a href="Caltagirone" title="Caltagirone">Caltagirone</a>, <a href="Chiaramonte_Gulfi" title="Chiaramonte Gulfi">Chiaramonte Gulfi</a> (RG) und <a href="Licodia_Eubea" title="Licodia Eubea">Licodia Eubea</a>.
